A reminder of God’s Healing — both physically and spiritually
 
Healing implies that something is broken or damaged and in need of restoration. And the truth is, we all live in a broken world that is in need of God’s mercy. 
 
What brings consolation, though, is remembering that this life is not the end. No matter what we experience here (whether life feels good and easy, or heavy and painful) we can hope for eternal love and happiness in the next.
 
Our Lady says this plainly to Saint Bernadette:
“I do not promise to make you happy in this world, but in the next.”
 
ABOUT THE APPARITION: 
The story of Our Lady of Lourdes begins with Saint Bernadette—a poor, sick, and seemingly insignificant girl. Through God’s providence, she is led to the grotto, where she encounters the Blessed Mother.
Bernadette spent much of her life suffering, and yet she was chosen to witness Our Lady. That alone tells us something important.
 
MESSAGE: 
Every circumstance is part of God’s plan.
Sometimes suffering makes it feel like God is absent from our lives. Like He has forgotten us, or passed us by. But Lourdes reminds us that God often chooses the broken, the overlooked, and the suffering to reveal His glory.
 
Scripture reminds us:
“All things work together for the good of those who love God.”
