Mary never takes away from Christ; she always leads us to Him.

One of the most sacred moments in all of Scripture is the Crucifixion. It is through Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross that humanity is restored to the relationship with God for which we were originally intended.

​

At this pinnacle of salvation history, Jesus is not surrounded by crowds. He is with only two people: John and His mother, Mary.

​

From the Cross, Jesus says to Mary, “Woman, behold your son,” and to John, “Behold your mother.” In this moment, John represents all of us. At the final moments of His earthly life, our Lord entrusts His mother to the world.

Why?

Because aside from Christ Himself, there is no one holier than the Blessed Mother. She is God’s finest masterpiece.

​

Just as praising a work of art ultimately honors the artist, honoring Mary (the most perfect work of God’s hands) ultimately glorifies God Himself. In her humility, Mary never draws attention to herself. She always points beyond herself, directing hearts to her Son. As a mother, she leads us into a deeper union with Christ.

She is the greatest natural wonder.

A created being gave birth to her Creator.

For many of us, especially cradle Catholics, this truth can feel ordinary until we pause and really behold its weight and mystery.

​

As I begin this boutique, I wanted to start with a Marian Collection because of Mary’s perfect devotion and complete union with God’s will. Her fiat—her wholehearted “yes”—marked the beginning of the mission of salvation. It felt fitting, then, to honor her at the beginning of my own mission and “yes” with this boutique.

​

My prayer is that these necklaces reflect even a glimpse of the beauty that dwells within Mary and the beauty she continues to reveal to all her spiritual children today.
