The Precious Pearl Collection

“When he found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.”

There is something beautiful about the way Christ speaks about the Kingdom of Heaven. The merchant in His parable discovers one pearl so valuable that he willingly gives up everything to possess it.

The Christian life is, in many ways, a continual discovery of this pearl.

We live in a world that constantly tells us where our worth comes from. Our appearance, accomplishments, relationships, possessions, and the way others see us can so easily become measures of our value. Yet our worth was established long before we accomplished anything.

We are known by God.
We are created by God.
We are loved by God.

We are precious in His eyes.

This is part of what the pearl represents. When we wear a pearl, we can remember that our dignity does not come from how beautiful we look or how much we have accomplished. It comes from being a beloved daughter of God.

But the pearl points to something even greater.

The merchant does not simply recognize something beautiful. He recognizes something worth giving everything for. In the same way, Christ invites us to discover that God Himself is the greatest treasure. Nothing this world offers can compare to Him, and our hearts were ultimately made to seek Him.

I wanted the Precious Pearl Collection to hold these two truths together: we are precious to God, and God is the Pearl worth seeking above everything else.

My hope is that each piece becomes a small reminder in your everyday life. When you catch a glimpse of a pearl, may you remember your worth as His beloved, and may your heart be drawn again toward the One who is infinitely worth seeking.
