Dainty Immaculate Conception Necklace

A reminder of the gift of grace
 
The Immaculate Conception is often misunderstood or confused with Jesus’ conception. This Marian dogma proclaims that Mary was conceived without original sin or any of its effects, by a singular grace of the omnipotent God.
 
This truth was solemnly declared by Pope Pius IX, revealing Mary as truly full of grace. Pure, innocent, and entirely opposed to sin, she stands in complete opposition to Satan - just as God promised in Genesis: “I will put enmity between you and the woman.”
Grace did not merely touch Mary; it filled her. In complete union with the Holy Spirit, God dwelt within her soul. She is who she is entirely because of God’s grace.
 
This was powerfully reinforced at Lourdes, when Mary revealed herself to Saint Bernadette with the words:
“I am the Immaculate Conception.”
 
ABOUT THE APPARITION:
The story of Our Lady of Lourdes begins with Saint Bernadette, a poor, sick, and seemingly insignificant girl. Through God’s providence, she is led to the grotto, where she encounters the Blessed Mother.
 
Mary's appearing to Bernadette was an act of grace, just as Mary’s person and fiat into her role in salvation history happened through God’s grace
